Anne Shragal, MA Licensed Professional Counselor
Hello. My name is Anne Shragal. I hold a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from Argosy University. I am currently perusing a certification as a Registered Play Therapist. I specialize in working with children as young as three through young adults. Areas of expertise include: life transitions, self-esteem, ADD/ADHD, depression, and/or anxiety, anger-management, parent-child conflict, and parenting training. In addition, I offer a Christian based perspective during our session.
My counseling philosophy is solution oriented, guiding you into becoming part of the solution rather than remaining part of the problem. I believe in providing a non-judgmental, fun and friendly environment, enhancing each counseling session with various games and activities, such as art, clay, journaling, and imagery, to assist you in processing your situation in a non-direct, less stressful manner.
I strongly believe that counseling sessions should be developed around each client's individual needs, and am continuing to develop and revise my tools and techniques to make your experience successful.
