About Us

Cara Jones, MA Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor

Cara JonesOne of my passions is to support and guide college age, seniors, and all women in between through a variety of challenges we all can face at one time or another. We work on such things as anxiety, depression, shame/self-esteem, spiritual, relationship, transition/stage of life, career and family issues. I also work with emotional eating, chronic pain, obsessive-compulsive disorder, grief, and sexual desire/function difficulties. You’ll find I incorporate boundaries, relaxation and mindfulness into many treatment plans to reduce stress and improve overall functioning. My second main area is to work with couples seeking to improve communication, repair hurts, reconnect, and deepen the joy that can be part of any close relationship.

Working together, you will find my style very relaxed and conversational. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters in Counseling Psychology. I work with adults of all faith backgrounds, but do hold board certification in Christian Counseling for those that seek such services. I also serve as the Assistant Director here at Stenzel Clinical Services. I look forward to having the privilege of working with you on this phase of your journey.
