Jennifer DuBos, MA Licensed Professional Counselor
Hello, my name is Jennifer DuBos. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and am certified in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. I conduct therapy from an experiential, relational, existential approach and like being able to give people practical, tangible ways of solving their problems and gaining insight. I have 7 years of experience in the clinical field, which I’ve gained through counseling college students, working at a practice in the south suburbs, serving couples, children, and families in
an agency setting, and practicing therapy at my current position with Stenzel Clinical Services.
I have a passion for helping people struggling with emotional or physical abuse, past or recent trauma, grief and loss, difficulty with change, complex relationships, poor self-concept, or difficulty managing stress. My clinical service population is primarily teens, young adults, parents and families. I also work specifically with adopted children and couples with infertility.
I believe in the healing power of an established relationship between counselor and client. Entering into this unique, purposeful, trusting relationship with my clients is truly what I enjoy most about counseling, and I consider it an honor to be a part of your journey.
