Hello, my name is Meagan Witt and I am a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker with my degree from the University of Illinois,
Urbana-Champaign. I specialize in working with adolescents and
families on issues such as mood and anxiety disorders, relationship
issues, academic difficulties, stress management, grief, and
LGBTQ/gender identity issues.
My counseling style is relaxed, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I take a realistic approach and work with the client utilizing solution-focused therapy to help them develop strategies and/or solutions for issues impacting their lives. I believe it is important to empower the client to make changes. I enjoy working with individuals, families and groups. In addition to private practice, I am a high school social worker, which provides me with a unique perspective with regards to adolescents and the demands of being a student.
