Peggy Loo, MA Licensed Professional Counselor
To change or heal takes time, bravery, and engagement in the process. Most importantly, it takes a great deal of consistent support. My hope is to develop a supportive and honest relationship with you through counseling so that you feel safe to address core issues and empowered to take action towards the life you were meant to have. Therefore my therapy style balances gaining insight and gaining skills, however remains respectful of how to make the process most relevant for you.
I enjoy working with adolescents, college students, and young adults with a variety of counseling needs. I also enjoy providing individual and family therapies, particularly improving parent-child relationships and addressing needs of immigrant families. Some of my interests also include domestic violence/trauma survivors, anger management, boundaries, first-generation young adults. identity issues, and spiritual issues.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and received a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. I have worked in a variety of social services, non-profit agencies, and crisis intervention prior to joining Stenzel Clinical.
I look forward to working with you!
