Kyle McCordic, LCPC

Hey there! My name is Kyle McCordic, and I am a Master's Level Clinician with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College. I am passionate about empowering people to express themselves in an open and honest manner. One main theme that drives what I do is the ongoing search for personal meaning and self-worth, something each of us has a natural right to seek out.

My experiences of growing up on the mission field as a missionary kid have granted me many unique experiences, including a passion for working with adjustment to new transitions from a variety of causes. I also care deeply about healing from past wounds, whether from the recent past or from childhood. I feel it is a great privilege to hear each individual's story and walk alongside them as they experience healing and growth.

I also care deeply about the grieving process and helping others to grieve loss of a loved one in a healthy way. Grief and grieving come in many forms, and many times we do not realize that we are living our lives with unresolved grief, be it for a person or something else. My hope is to create a space where the client feels safe to share those deep hurts, and experiences positive change.

As a former intern at Stenzel I received a great deal of experience and on-the-job training in play therapy, designed for children and adolescents dealing with a variety of issues. I am now happy to say that working with children is one of my favorite things, because sometimes talking alone won't solve everything. I look forward to working with you and your family to attain your goals for change.
